Principal Attorney

THE LAWYER OF MIRACLES

My goal is to keep families together and to help my clients gain legal status without having to leave the United States. I have handled over a thousand immigration cases and won cases that many other attorneys have said were “unwinnable.” My clients’ legal issues are usually difficult and complex because of situations like previous deportations, criminal convictions like DUIs and domestic violence, and more, yet I work hard to find legal solutions so that they can remain in the United States.

The legal team at my firm is one of the best in the country. We work quickly to show our clients results. We submit the majority of our cases in one week. We communicate with every single client every single month to tell them how their cases are going. Communication is extremely important to us, and we return every single phone call, email, and text message the day that it is received.

Immigration is my life. My family is a family of immigrants. My husband is from Mexico, and we run the law firm together. My kids are all first generation American on their father’s side. My grandparents were from Italy and the Czech Republic. My grandmother received asylum in the United States.

I am fluent in Spanish. My entire practice and life is dedicated to the rights of Latinos in the United States and the advancement of the Latino community through the use of the US immigration system. I previously held a prestigious internship at the Seattle Immigration Court (EOIR). I have won both local and national awards for my work.

I am also the Founder & CEO of the international network of immigration lawyers called AMIGA Lawyers, the Association of Mother Immigration Attorneys.

I am originally from Monterrey, Mexico, and I myself went through the immigration process. It was a very long and stressful process, but having legal status has changed my life. I understand how difficult it is to live in the United States without papers, and I am glad to be a part of a law firm that is committed to transforming the lives of undocumented immigrants.

I work hard to ensure that every client receives the attention that s/he deserves from our law firm. I also assist clients in putting together payment plans so that they can have access to excellent legal services at a price that they can afford.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our 5 children, attending their sport and school events. I also enjoy traveling with my wife and staying up to date with the latest immigration news.

I love being able to work with a firm so devoted to the immigrant community. Immigration is a huge part of my life. I moved to San José Del Cabo in 2014 after my daughter and I were separated from my devoted husband and her loving father. We struggled several years to try to keep him in the United States and then to have him come back. (I wish I knew Alexandra when I was going through our process! It would have turned out much differently!) I know and understand firsthand the pain, fear, and stress that immigration causes. To be able to be a part of a firm that believes, supports and fights to keep families together, something that matters to me most, without having to leave the United States is more than rewarding.

I am a mother of a beautiful little girl named Faith. Both she and my husband, Luis, are my heart and soul. We have one dog named Milo, and a cat named Oscar that were both rescued from the street. I have a huge, loving family back from my home in Wisconsin, including 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 16 nieces and nephews, and another 8 nieces and nephews on my husband’s side.

I enjoy cooking, baking with my daughter, reading, crocheting, spending time with my family, and hiking in the beautiful Cabo mountains.

I have witnessed the reality of what immigration can do for and take away from families. Our clients have inspired me to work hard every day and give them the relief that they are so deserving of.

I am a second-generation Mexican American, but I come from a family of immigrants. My grandparents, on both my father’s and mother’s side, came to this country decades ago to provide a better life for their children and grandchildren. I am my parents and grandparent’s wildest dreams.

I am currently studying to become an immigration attorney by being a Law Clerk, studying under our lead attorney, Alexandra Lozano. I have studied many years in college to receive a BA and MA in Criminal Justice to fight for the rights of minorities and juveniles, as it has always been my passion.

We help our clients gain legal status without leaving the United States!
